Dragon Roll
Sushi Ran - Sausalito, CA
Had a craving for good sushi when I was in Marin County, and an online search indicated that Sushi Ran was a highly-thought-of sushi restaurant. We ended up getting a table for two, and ordering several items (omekase nigiri specials, omekase maki, and a dragon roll). The result was excellence, with everything I look for in a good sushi experience: extremely fresh quality fish, immaculate preparation, careful selection of seasoning, interesting combinations of textures, and good presentation.
This was not a cheap meal (around $160 total for two people), but was thoroughly good sushi, and Sushi Ran seems to have earned their reputation
