Alpine Burger

An excellent flat top grilled beef burger, though the "bun/bread" concept was a bit over the top. They take what looked like an egg bread block and remove the center, deep fry the whole thing and then put a mayo-mix (like aoli) where the bread used to be. Called "coffin bread" because they put a lid of deep fried bread over the mayo, then the burger goes over that. Bad name, and too much fried bread in the end - especially with the fries which were fantastic. I ate just the burger and only a little of the bread. It was great though, I'd get it again.
